The Trip Home

The rains finally came. We ate a quick breakfast and proceeded to gather up all the things we wanted to take with us, throwing away the rest. Packing up took a little longer than expected, but we managed to bring our keys to the rental office in time.

The trip home was dreary and long. Traffic snarls on 64 and 95 were due to either accidents or cautious drivers in the rain. One enjoyable moment was stopping at a Cracker Barrel just south of Frederick. This filled us up for the rest of the day.

Although the week was very enjoyable, and we formed many memories at the beach house, we were glad to be home.
